THE BIOLOGY OF PREVENTION™

One Practice. A More Connected View of Your Health

A more connected approach to prevention, healthspan, metabolic health, and everyday wellbeing—built around your biology, your goals, and your life.

WHY IT MATTERS

Prevention becomes powerful when it becomes personal.

Health rarely changes because of one number, one symptom, or one
appointment. The Biology of Prevention TM connects patterns across your history, clinical evaluation, laboratory findings, daily life, and goals.

We use those patterns to identify priorities, create a practical care plan, and follow what changes over time-so prevention becomes an active part of your care.

FIVE BIOLOGICAL SIGNATURES

The patterns we evaluate together.

These signatures are not diagnoses. They are clinical lenses that can help reveal where focused action may have the greatest impact.

01

Insulin resistance

How effectively your body manages glucose, insulin, energy, and fat storage.

02

Chronic inflammation

Clinical patterns that may influence cardiometabolic health, recovery, and wellbeing.

03

Cardiovascular Risk

Blood pressure, lipids, advanced cholesterol markers, family history, and other risk factors.

04

Hormonal & Midlife Change

Symptoms and health risks that may shift through perimenopause, menopause, and aging.

05

Micronutrient Status

Potential deficiencies evaluated when symptoms, history, or clinical findings indicate testing.

Testing is individualized and ordered only when clinically indicated.

Continue Your Prevention Journey

HOW CARE WORKS

From information to a plan you can live with.

01

Listen & assess

We begin with your history, concerns, priorities, medications, and daily life.

02

Measure what matters

Your clinician determines which examinations, screenings, and tests are appropriate.

03

Connect the patterns

We interpret results in context-not as isolated numbers and explain what they may mean.

04

Act & reassess

Together, we create a realistic plan and monitor progress as your needs evolve.

CARE ACROSS THE HEALTHSPAN

Clinical care designed to work together.

Begin with the care you need now. We will help connect it to the risks, priorities, and life transitions that shape what comes next.

Preventive Primary Care

Annual care, screenings, chronic disease management, cardiovascular risk reduction, and proactive prevention.

Weight & Metabolic Health

Evidence-based treatment for obesity, insulin resistance, prediabetes, metabolic syndrome, and cardiometabolic risk.

Men’s Hormone Health

We provide individualized hormone health evaluations for women and men, including assessment of concerns such as hormonal changes and low testosterone. When appropriate, treatment options such as EvexiPEL® may be discussed as part of a personalized care plan.

Urbane Skin Institute with Hair Restoration

Clinical skin and hair health integrated with the same evidence-based approach used throughout your care.

Independent Veteran Examinations & Nexus Letter Services

Independent examinations, medical-record reviews, and evidence-based medical opinions when clinically supportable.

Integrated Throughout Your Care

Cardiometabolic Risk Assessment • Lifestyle Medicine • Nutrition • Healthspan & Prevention

Disclaimer: A nexus letter is not guaranteed. A medical opinion is provided only when supported by the available medical records, clinical evaluation, and current medical evidence. Omotara J. Adewale

Dr. Omotara J. Adewale is a nurse practitioner, clinical educator, and the Founder and Clinical Architect of Urbane Health Services and The Biology of Prevention™.

Her clinical perspective brings together evidence-based primary care, obesity and metabolic medicine, women’s midlife and hormonal health, oncology experience, and trauma-informed care. She developed The Biology of Prevention™ to help patients recognize important health patterns, understand their individual risks, and take meaningful action before preventable conditions progress.

Dr. Adewale believes exceptional care must be both medically sound and realistic for the person receiving it. Her approach connects clinical evidence with each patient’s history, goals, culture, and everyday life, turning complex health information into practical, sustainable steps.

Through Urbane Health Services, she provides the clinical vision for a model of care centered on earlier insight, informed decision-making, and helping people live healthier, stronger lives.
